Summary

With funding from Eli Lilly Canada, The Alzheimer Society of Ontario partnered with researchers from the Centre for Education and Research on Aging & Health at Lakehead University and from the University of Waterloo, to lead a process to “map the dementia journey” from the perspectives and experiences of people living with dementia, care-partners and health service providers in Ontario. The researchers will present their “map” of the dementia journey along with key themes that emerged, emphasizing the intersectionality, multidimensionality, and diversity of the journey. How the mapping process and insights from it can be used in practice will also be explored.

We ask that you only register for this event if you are certain you can attend, we also encourage participants joining from the same location or organization to share a computer, as we have limited space. Thank you.
